There are situations, events, and circumstances that forever change your life, or your perspectives on life. Births, deaths, losses, marriages are among the obvious ones. As you may have experienced, traveling or missionary work also may dramatically alter your view of the world, and your place in it.
I met Carol & Dick Mattson, and their boys, Chris and Scott, in 1992. The grown-ups were preparing for a 2 week work-study visit to Nicaragua and Guatemala. The Mattson boys were teens/preteens, Jordan was 6 and Savannah was 9. (What was I THINKING??)
We became family, returning to Nicaragua, ...Carol and Dick were 1st to arrive at our house when I learned that daddy had died...working with Habitat for Humanity, sharing Thanksgivings, and gathering new sets of in-laws...
Scott married Aaron (from Conway!). Chris moved to teach English in Japan. Cora and Carter came along, and Bryton, Blake, Bellah. Chris married Reiko, Kai arrived...

Lo and behold, Savannah & Jeremy 'found' Scott and family at Four Winds Church in Conway! "Then said he unto me, Prophesy unto the wind, prophesy, son of man, and say to the wind, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe upon these slain, that they may live."
Bryton at Four Winds VBS musical...oh Molly!

The families extended to include the Butlers and their relatives, the Four Winds families...
